Is Business Explorer a Business Brokerage?

No, our platform only connects Buyers and Sellers. We do NOT play a role in the actual transaction.

Q:
How much does it cost to use Business Explorer?

A:
Nothing. Our service is completely FREE!

Q:
What type of photo should I use when adding a business to sell?

A:
We suggest to use a photo that is confidential and displays your business industry. Please ensure that you have the appropriate rights to share the photo you select to use.

Q:
If I list my business to sell, will my competitors find out?

A:
Our platform is designed to add your business completely confidentially. All businesses are placed on the map by using a zip code, and not the actual address.

Q:
I don’t see my business on the map. Did I add it correctly?

A:
After a business is added, it goes under a review process that usually takes under 12 hours. If your business doesn’t meet our regulations, it will be rejected, and can be found in your “Sell a Biz” tab.

Q:
I’m a Business Broker. How many businesses can I list from one account?

A:
There is no limit for how many you’re allowed to list. In addition, if you currently use a CRM, our I.T. team can connect you to Business Explorer to save you time and hassle.

Q:
If I inquire for additional information on a Professional Business Valuation, where do you refer my information?

A:
Business Explorer ONLY refers business valuation inquiries to Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA). We have (1) third-party (CVA) designated for each state.

Q:
If I need help, what type of referral services do you partner with that could help me?

A:
Our team partners with CVAs, SBA Loan Officers, Immigration Attorneys, Due Diligence Services, and we can even refer you to a Business Broker that could walk you through the process.
